President & Founder

Aaron is a certified RESNET HERS Rater (RTIN 2318572) and BPI Envelope Professional & Building Analyst (5046769) with over twelve years' experience in the field. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his amazing family, walking the neighborhood with Macy and Anya, playing the saxophone (jazz, in particular), traditional archery, reading, and sampling good coffee, bourbon, and NC craft beer.

Mike James
Rating Field Inspector

Mike is a certified RESNET Rating Field Inspector (RFIIN PW473Y) who began his career in May, bringing a strong attention to detail and passion for quality work. His love for houses and construction drives his commitment to ensuring every project meets high standards. When he’s not on the job, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, creating lasting memories together. He also loves the outdoors, finding peace and inspiration in nature.

Accounting Manager

Xuemei brought her attention to detail, business acumen, and many years of financial experience to the Green Door Energy team in 2019, ensuring smooth operations and a solid financial foundation for the company. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, playing with her dogs, singing, and practicing the piano.

Anya & Macy
Chief Happiness Officers

Anya (left) has been a CHO since February 2022. In her abundant spare time, Anya enjoys wreaking havoc & cuddling, as well as pestering her big sister. As the original CHO, Macy (right) is a certified Bringer of Happiness with nearly ten years of experience. In her spare time, she can be found looking for a belly rub or two from anyone nearby or napping (and possibly dreaming of catching those pesky backyard squirrels).
